Several months
ago I started having problems with my eyes. I felt like I
had sand or dirt
in my eyes and no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to
ease up. Also,
when I looked straight ahead, I couldn't see. It was like
there was a
cloud right in the middle of my eye. I hadn't been to the eye
doctor in
about 10 years, but I was told the last time I went that I had the
starting of
cataracts so I thought that was my problem. My good friend
talked me into
going to have my eyes rechecked and I wasn't prepared
for what they told me.
My cataracts had gotten worse but I also had glaucoma
and that within a year I
would need surgery. I went to church one Sunday
morning and felt impressed
to have Bro. Bill & the church pray for me.
Bro. Bill started at my
left and went all the way around the church and came to
me last. This
whole time I was praying that God heal my eyes. After Bro. Bill
prayed I
was sitting there and I noticed that the sand & dirt feeling was going
away
and by the time church was over it was completely gone. Also, the cloud
in
the middle of my eye was gone. I go back to the eye doctor in a year and I
am believing that the cataracts & glaucoma will also be gone. I thank
God for the
touch in my eyes and in my life. This past year has been
rough. I lost my husband
a year ago this month but with the help of the
Lord, special friends &
family I have made it.
